Charging Rate for Lithium Batteries?

Hello Jeff, love your yourtubes. I have a 37’/ 11.3 meter catamaran and I am installing (2) house banks, 4,960 amp hours all up. I know you say you need at least a 10% charging rate for the batteries to charge properly, wet acid and AGM. Is there a minimum charge rate for LiFePo4 batteries? - Mark

Thanks for the reach out. You bring a good question, unfortunately I’ve never read about a minimum charge rate for Lithium batteries, as a rule of thumb we always keep charge rate to a minimum current to 10% of capacity. Let me know what you find out in your research. BTW, sounds like you have an interesting project ahead.
