Corroded Negative Posts on My Batteries?

I have (3) Group 27 Gel (actually gel) as my house bank. The negative posts get very corroded every year. Am I doing something wrong? The positives are fine. - Dave

Great question, unfortunately I don’t really have an answer on this one, wondered about that as well. On my own boat, I regularly clean the battery terminals from corrosion. - Jeff
