DC Generator Instead of an AC Generator to Charge Lithium Batteries

With lithium battery banks getting larger and able to accommodate many AC loads, at what point would it make sense to use a DC generator as apposed to AC? - Brian

Hi Brian, thanks for reaching out.  You are 100% correct, many boaters who are moving to lithium are looking at adding DC only gensets or even upgrading to high output alternators with no Genset onboard.
