If I Have a C-Zone Digital Switching and Monitoring System, Do I Still Need a Battery Monitor?

My boat is equipped with CZONE and for the house batteries it displays voltage, current SOC and remaining Ah. I have been viewing a number of Jeff's presentations on YouTube where he is discussing the advantages of battery monitors. What additional information would a separate battery monitor give me compared with what CZone is providing?  David

Answer:

Hi David, thanks for the reach out. Sounds like your CZone system is already providing you with the benefits of a battery monitor. The most valuable info from a battery monitor is knowing voltage at the battery bank, current going in and out of the battery, and state of charge either expressed in percentage or in amp-hours.  Cheers, Jeff
