Is it Safe to Use a Honda Generator on the Dock to Charge my Batteries?

Thanks again for the recommendation, the videos are great.  I was watching Jeff’s video on AC/DC gens https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DZpPoyCOGI , and he said you shouldn’t use a Honda generator because there is no ground only hot and neutral.  What does that mean? -Eric

Suitcase generators, like the Honda generator, aren’t properly grounded and are effectively a floating ground. When you connect to shorepower or professional installed generator, you have a 3 wire connection: hot, neutral, and ground. Since your honda generator is ungrounded, you effectively only have a hot and neutral connection.
