Raymarine E-Series Cycling Back to Home Screen

Question:

I have a Raymarine e-series MFD that has suddenly decided to start cycling continuously back to the start-up screen and to the display on its own. Thinking it might be a connection or power issue we connected it directly to the battery while also on shore power but the cycling problem continues. Help. Thanks. - Bradley

Hi Bradley, it was a good idea to eliminate the battery issue by testing the unit with a battery charger charging the display. Make sure the power connector at the back of the display is tight and well “seated”.  Eliminating external power, the issue is probably within the unit and you’ll need to bring the Raymarine unit to a service center to be looked at. - Jeff
